Overview of the Role

As a QA Engineer for Procurement – Supply (Stock PO) at HCLTech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the stock purchase order lifecycle. You will be responsible for validating and optimizing processes from requisition and PO creation through goods receipt, invoice verification, and supplier interfaces. Your expertise will help enhance procurement operations, ensure seamless integration with supplier and logistics systems, and support the company’s commitment to operational excellence.

Detailed Responsibilities

- Oversee and assure the end-to-end stock purchase order lifecycle, including requisition, PO creation, goods receipt, invoice verification, and supplier interactions.
- Validate and test replenishment and scheduling scenarios to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supplier and logistics systems with SAP MM procurement modules.
- Analyze and challenge existing approval workflows, pricing mechanisms, and tolerance logic to drive improvements and optimize procurement processes.
- Design and execute QA test cases and scenarios, ensuring compliance with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Identify process gaps, recommend corrective actions,



and support implementation of enhanced procurement solutions.
- Monitor quality metrics, report defects, and track resolution to maintain high standards of operational quality.
- Document test results, maintain QA records, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in SAP MM procurement processes, including stock PO lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of supplier integration and logistics systems within enterprise environments.
- Experience in QA methodologies, test case creation, and defect management, preferably in procurement or supply chain domains.
- Analytical skills to challenge and improve approval, pricing, and tolerance logic.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork.
- Proven track record in process optimization and quality assurance within large-scale technology organizations.
