Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines.

Build and optimize complex database queries and data models (SQL and NoSQL).

Implement robust APIs for data access and service integration.

Work with large datasets, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and performance.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver data-driven solutions.

Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend services and data processing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development and data handling.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is beneficial.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment in
