Senior DevOps Engineer

to join their team in

Gijón, Asturias

. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our office, fostering a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of our software. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement. This is a key role in optimizing our development and operations processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.

Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.

Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments.

Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.,



Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective in a hybrid setting.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

con experiencia para unirse a su equipo de ingeniería completamente remoto. Serás fundamental en la construcción y mantenimiento de la infraestructura de CI/CD, automatización de despliegues y monitorización de sistemas en producción. Esta posición te permite aplicar tus conocimientos en un entorno adaptable y dinámico, trabajando con tecnologías de vanguardia y colaborando con equipos de desarrollo de software a nivel global, contribuyendo a la agilidad y fiabilidad de nuestras plataformas.





Key Responsibilities

Diseñar, implementar y gestionar pipelines de Integración Continua y Despliegue Continuo (CI/CD).

Automatizar procesos de despliegue, configuración y gestión de infraestructura utilizando herramientas como Ansible, Terraform o Chef.

Configurar y mantener sistemas de monitorización, logging y alerting para asegurar la observabilidad de las aplicaciones.

Gestionar entornos cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) y servicios de orquestación de contenedores como Kubernetes.

Colaborar estrechamente con los equipos de desarrollo para optimizar los flujos de trabajo y mejorar la fiabilidad del software.

Garantizar la seguridad, escalabilidad y alta disponibilidad de la infraestructura y las aplicaciones en producción.

Requirements

Más de 5 años de experiencia en operaciones de sistemas o ingeniería DevOps.

Experiencia sólida con herramientas de automatización de configuración (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Dominio de herramientas de orquestación de contenedores (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).

Profundo conocimiento de plataformas cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) y sus servicios relacionados.

Experiencia en la implementación y gestión de pipelines CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

Fuertes habilidades de scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
