Role Description The Spanish Teacher role in Castelldefels, Barcelona is a temporary, on-site position focused on delivering high-quality Spanish instruction to individual learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing learners’ needs and progress, and adapting teaching materials and methods to different levels and learning styles. The teacher will follow BiCortex’s pedagogical standards and the CEFR while maintaining clear communication with the coordination team about schedules, attendance,



and learner feedback.

The role also involves preparing and updating course materials, providing tutoring support where needed, and maintaining a professional, welcoming classroom environment at the designated location in Castelldefels.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Spanish Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners of different levels and backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills to design structured, goal-oriented courses and sessions.
- Candidates should possess Tutoring skills to offer individualized support and adapt teaching methods to specific learner needs.
- Relevant teaching certification, degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Experience following the CEFR and working with corporate and/or private students is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexibly with schedules and locations in Castelldefels are required.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish in an on-site classroom setting; knowledge of digital tools for supporting in-person instruction is a plus.
