The Caprae Buyside Internship is a high-intensity training program for people who want a career in private equity or acquisitions. It centres on exposure to real deals, negotiation psychology and deal structuring. It does not involve passive research or slow-paced financial modelling.
Your foundation is communication: understanding founders, reading their motivation and gathering deal-relevant information. As early as four weeks in, you can support real deals and begin to understand valuation logic, structure mechanics and the sequence of an ETA transaction. We start with the human side of M&A;, because that is where deals are won.
