This is a hands‑on role with real ownership and impact across engineering and product. The Role As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining core systems that support a high‑scale, always‑on platform. You’ll be responsible for
* Developing and maintaining backend systems and internal tools
* Translating business goals into scalable technical solutions
* Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving live systems (24/7 environment)
* Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments
* Driving improvements in architecture, performance, and scalability
* Integrating and maintaining third‑party APIs What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails
* Experience working on high‑scale, production systems
* Strong understanding of software design principles & best practices
* Proven ability to think strategically and align tech with business goals
* Ownership mindset with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
* Experience working with large datasets and third‑party integrations Nice to Have
* Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Hotwire
* Knowledge of mobile ad monetisation ecosystems
