Overview

As a Data Engineer in Sanofi’s Manufacturing & Supply Digital team, you will build data foundations to enable AI-driven insights that accelerate medicines and vaccines. You’ll join cross-functional pods within the AI Factory to design scalable data solutions and make key datasets accessible to data scientists, analysts, and business users. You’ll contribute to Sanofi’s digital transformation by delivering robust data pipelines and governance-aware platforms. This role offers meaningful impact in improving patient outcomes through data-led product development.

Responsabilidades
- Design technical architectures that meet business and technical needs
- Build, optimize and maintain data and ETL pipelines for production readiness
- Ingest, organize and analyze large, complex data assets to unlock business value
- Collaborate with business and product teams to translate needs into solutions
- Promote best practices in code management, automated testing,



CI/CD and deployments
- Coach peers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and rigor
- Create documentation for knowledge transfer and maintenance
- Contribute to Data Engineering community to define leading practices
- Communicate results clearly to stakeholders while upholding data quality, security and governance standards

Requisitos principales
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, integration, data warehousing or BI in cross-functional settings
- Life sciences or pharma experience a plus
- Spark/Scala, Informatica/IICS or dbt; Python and shell scripting; strong SQL and data modeling
- Relational databases and query tuning; cloud data platforms (Snowflake a plus)
- Orchestration tools (Airflow a plus); GitHub a plus
- Batch, near real-time and streaming ingestion; data mesh a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Engineering or related field
- Fluent English; other languages a plus
