Overview

In this Senior DevOps Engineer role, you own and evolve production platforms at scale, focusing on reliability, automation, and secure operations. You’ll work across AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and observability to simplify software delivery for engineering teams. You’ll influence engineering standards, reusable patterns, and the responsible adoption of AI technologies. This is a hands-on role with leadership impact, shaping platform engineering and cross-team collaboration. The opportunity combines technical ownership with meaningful impact on the specialty insurance domain.

Responsabilidades
- Design, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms in production
- Create and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns with Terraform and OpenTofu
- Develop automation with Ansible to reduce manual work and ensure consistency
- Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and quality controls
- Enhance developer experience via automation, self-service, documentation, and tooling
- Promote engineering standards across infrastructure, Kubernetes, security, governance, and software delivery
- Support AI technology adoption with integrations,



governance, observability, and cost management
- Strengthen monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational visibility of critical platforms
- Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and application issues
- Provide advanced technical support for platform and production challenges
- Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and influence engineering decisions across teams

Requisitos principales
- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
- Experience supporting and improving production environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and automation; Azure DevOps pipelines
- Experience boosting developer productivity via platform tooling and automation
- Knowledge of infrastructure standards, cloud security, governance, and operational practices
- Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, deployments, and configuration
- Ability to read and understand application code when debugging platform issues
- Automation-first mindset and ongoing drive to improve how teams build, deploy, and operate software
