As a Senior Commercial Analyst, within the team of MEXF, you will:
- Analyse, monitor and benchmark the performance of renewables forecasts from external providers and create combined forecasts
- Identify, evaluate and implement statistical forecast improvements
- Lead the use of AI/ML tools to develop new models
- Create and improve renewables forecasts for our Spanish portfolio based on numerical weather models
- Develop statistical arbitrage strategies based on renewable forecast data
- Support the operational forecasting duty by identifying and resolving operationally critical incidents
- Support the preparation of ad-hoc commercial analyses for internal and external stakeholders
- Regularly update stakeholders on recent developments and performance evaluations
