Your Task

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect specialized in T-Cloud Public (TCP) to strengthen our Cloud Professional Services capabilities in Iberia. In this role, you will help our customers design, adopt and transform their IT environments using T-Cloud Public, combining strong cloud architecture expertise with a practical understanding of enterprise IT environments, hybrid cloud and cloud transformation. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our customers, working from the early stages of an opportunity through architecture definition, implementation and transition into operations. This is a customer-facing and hands-on architecture role. You will work closely with customers, Sales, Cloud Professional Services, engineering and delivery teams in Iberia and across the international T-Systems organization.

Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end cloud architectures based on T-Cloud Public, covering compute, networking, storage, security, identity, resilience, observability and governance
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into secure, scalable and production-ready cloud architectures
- Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and architecture discussions with customers
- Act as a technical reference for T-Cloud Public within Cloud Professional Services Iberia
- Define reference architectures, architecture patterns and reusable solutions that can accelerate future customer engagements
- Design and support cloud landing zones, cloud foundations and hybrid cloud architectures
- Define migration and modernization approaches for workloads moving from traditional infrastructure or other cloud environments to T-Cloud Public
- Support assessments, Proofs of Concept, pilots and technical validation activities
- Contribute to technical proposals, RFPs/RFIs and solution designs together with Sales and Cloud Professional Services teams
- Support projects throughout the complete lifecycle, from solution definition and architecture to implementation and transition to operations
- Work closely with cloud engineers and delivery teams, providing architectural guidance during implementation
- Apply Infrastructure as Code, automation and CI/CD principles to cloud solution design and delivery
- Help customers address security, compliance, resilience, data sovereignty and cloud governance requirements
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and architecture trade-offs and communicate them clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with international T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom cloud teams, leveraging existing capabilities, methodologies and reusable assets
- Mentor architects and engineers and contribute to growing T-Cloud Public knowledge and capabilities within Iberia
- Capture project experience and lessons learned to create reusable architectures, accelerators and best practices

Your Profile

with several years of professional experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud architecture expertise with practical understanding of enterprise IT environments, hybrid cloud, and cloud transformation, particularly with OpenStack-based environments and T-Cloud Public.

Must Have Skills

- Several years of professional experience as a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Cloud Engineer
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Compute
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Networking
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Storage
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Identity & Access Management
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Security
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across High Availability
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Monitoring & Observability
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture across Cloud Governance
- Strong understanding of OpenStack-based cloud environments
- Experience designing enterprise IaaS and PaaS solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, VPNs, private connectivity and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with automation and CI/CD practices
- Good understanding of cloud security architecture, IAM, encryption, security policies and network security
- Experience designing highly available, resilient and scalable cloud architectures
- Ability to produce clear architecture documentation
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions

- Previous experience with T-Cloud Public / Open Telekom Cloud
- Catalan language skills




- T-Cloud Public / Open Telekom Cloud certifications
- OpenStack certification or significant hands-on OpenStack experience
- Cloud architecture certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Experience designing cloud landing zones and governance frameworks
- Experience with enterprise cloud migration and application modernization projects
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization principles
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Git-based workflows
- Experience with modern DevOps toolchains
- Experience working with regulated industries
- Experience working with public sector organizations
- Experience working with environments with demanding security, compliance and data sovereignty requirements
