YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
TEICON ENGINEERING invites you to join an ambitious project in Tarragona, where we're constructing a state-of-the-art facility for the production of industrial gases. This role is your chance to contribute to a massive project involving superstructures for methane and ethylene production, set to be transported to the United States.
Project Location: Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
Supervise and coordinate all welding activities on site in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Monitor and verify the performance of welders and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved welding procedures and quality requirements.
Conduct and document visual testing (VT Level 2) of welds, identifying defects and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Support and, if qualified, perform radiographic testing (RT Level 2) and evaluate X-ray films for accurate assessment of weld quality.
Ensure that all welding work complies with safety regulations, project-specific requirements, and applicable international standards.
Collaborate closely with construction, quality, and commissioning teams to resolve welding-related punch points and non-conformities.
Maintain welding inspection records, issue daily reports,



and contribute to lessons learned for future projects.
Promote a strong HSE culture throughout all welding-related activities.
Certified as Welding Engineer or Welding Specialist .
Certified in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with Visual Testing (VT) Level 2 ; additional certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 2 is a strong asset.
Proven experience in evaluating radiographic films and reporting weld quality results.
Several years of experience in supervising welding works within large-scale industrial construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of welding processes, inspection methods, and applicable international standards.
