In this Lead Game Designer role at Gameloft, you drive the overall game vision and ensure a cohesive player experience across platforms. You work closely with studio stakeholders and design leads to shape tone, mechanics, and progression, balancing innovation with quality. You’ll guide the design team and coordinate with level design to create a seamless meta-structure that supports the game’s AA experience. This is a chance to influence cross-platform titles and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams in a globally connected studio.

Responsabilidades
- Define and execute the game vision with studio stakeholders and leads
- Direct tone, gameplay, and meta-structure to foster innovation and high-quality AA experience
- Lead the design team to deliver cohesive player experience
- Coordinate with level design to align mechanics and progression
- Identify and mitigate threats to quality and innovation
- Build cross-department collaboration (Art, UI, Tech, Online, Data, Audio, Production, HR)
- Plan resources and roadmap with managers and producers
- Participate in recruitment for game designers
Requisitos principales
- 6+ years of game design experience in lead/principal roles
- Led or contributed to at least two released titles as lead/principal/senior game designer
- Strong background in 3Cs and gameplay systems design for PC/Console action genres
- Experience prototyping with Unity or Unreal
- Proficiency in meta-game/progression systems, balancing, UI/UX, level design, and narrative
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of gaming market and trends
- Ability to maintain a creative strategy while allowing modifications
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma
- Fluent in English
