Overview

In this role, you shape and scale Stripe’s 3D illustration and motion language within the Brand Studio, aligning visuals with product and marketing goals. You’ll create photo‑realistic 3D scenes for static and motion media, driving brand consistency across campaigns and events. You collaborate across design, product, and marketing to elevate storytelling through image and motion, leveraging AI tools to expand creative possibilities. This is a chance to influence brand systems at Stripe’s scale and push the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and establish illustration and motion styles in partnership with brand, product design, and marketing
- Create photo-realistic 3D compositions for static and motion media across various advertising surfaces
- Champion Stripe’s visual language by developing guidelines, systems, and processes for consistency at scale
- Collaborate with non-motion designers to elevate each other’s work
- Ensure quality and consistency of 3D illustration/motion across products, campaigns, and events
- Oversee external creative teams in strategy, execution, and production
- Work with designers, researchers, product managers, marketers, and cross-functional partners for a integral audience
- Foster a culture of design excellence by evolving practices, processes, and ideation

Requisitos principales

- 6+ years of design and art direction experience for technical and product-driven companies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in art or equivalent professional experience
- Strong strategic acumen for building leading brands in a fast-paced global environment
- Systems-thinking with ability to extrapolate and extend shared patterns and behaviors
- Proven excellence in art direction and extending 3D illustration systems
- Experience using and building AI tools to create innovative work
- Ability to convey brand through graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and video
- Strong communication to share concepts, direction, and decisions with team and external partners
- Track record of independently delivering work and collaborating with designers, contractors, and agencies
