Senior Forward Deployed Engineer | AI & Data Consultant At Propelling Tech we do not start with technology. As an AI Business Engineer you will be the bridge between a integral enterprise's executives and its engineers, and you will see your work reach production and measurable results. Propelling Tech is an AI, data and consulting firm serving enterprise clients across the US, Europe and the Middle East. We combine deep business understanding with hands-on engineering, using our own accelerators, frameworks and AI-powered tools to deliver value faster than traditional consulting. We work on high-impact problems for some of the world's leading companies, and we measure success by the outcomes our clients see, not by the slides we deliver. Our teams are based in hybrid offices in L'Illa (Barcelona) and Madrid. You will work side by side with client stakeholders to understand their processes, data and pain points. Then you will redesign those processes with AI and build the end-to-end solution yourself: from data models and pipelines to GenAI applications and agentic workflows. Business engineering
• Build and deploy AI agents and automated workflows that combine reasoning, tool use and human-in-the-loop controls.

optimized SQL and work hands-on with relational and cloud databases.
• Design and implement data models (e.g., Ensure data quality and structure are ready to support reliable AI outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering data and/or AI projects, ideally in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with databases. Proficiency in Python.
• You pick up new tools, domains and client contexts quickly, and you adapt when priorities shift.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Master's degree in a related field.
• Familiarity with data governance, MDM or data catalog platforms.
• Cloud or data engineering certifications. You will work on high-impact problems for top global companies, build alongside a team that moves fast, and grow into a true business-and-technology leader.
• Impact: every project is measured by the business outcome it creates.
• Within your first months you will have led a discovery with a client stakeholder, shipped a solution that is in daily use, and can show the business metric it moved.
