We're Hiring: UI Software Engineer (Qt/QML)

Location:
Sant Cugat, Spain We are looking for a UI Software Engineer (Qt/QML) to join our engineering team, working on innovative printing technology and next-generation user experiences. In this role, you will develop, maintain and enhance user interfaces for printing platforms, working closely with software engineers, UX/UI designers, firmware teams and platform architects. What will you do?
• Develop and maintain user interface software using Qt/QML and C++.
• Translate UX/UI specifications and design concepts into functional, polished interfaces.
• Improve visual quality, usability, accessibility and consistency across products.
• Develop reusable UI components and contribute to scalable UI frameworks.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve UI-related defects.
• Participate in software design, code reviews, testing and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, firmware, architecture and design teams.
• Work with central platform and architecture teams to ensure solutions align with global frameworks, standards and long-term platform direction.
• Provide occasional support for web-based UI technologies when required. Must-have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field,



or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience developing user interfaces using Qt/QML.
• Strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Good software engineering fundamentals and experience with version control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Nice to have:
• Experience with Linux-based application development.
• Background in embedded systems or device user interfaces.
• Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript or web application development.
• Experience with reusable UI components and component-based architectures.
• Familiarity with accessibility, usability, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience in printing, imaging or related technology domains. What will make you successful?
