Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Development Specialist in Albuquerque, NM, supporting a national security environment. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, advancing national security technologies, and connecting government, industry, and research stakeholders to drive mission-focused initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to support long-term national security programs through technology commercialization, stakeholder engagement, and business development efforts. Responsibilities of the Technical Business Development Specialist Include:
• Implement stakeholder engagement and partnership strategies across federal government, defense, and national security organizations.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives supporting national security programs, technologies, and mission objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions and operational applications for customers and partners.
• Research and analyze market trends, mission requirements, and emerging national security priorities to inform business strategy.
• Lead technology transfer and partnership initiatives that support the deployment and adoption of national security systems and capabilities.
• Foster relationships with government customers, industry partners, academic institutions, and system integrators to advance collaborative opportunities.



Qualifications of the Technical Business Development Specialist Include:
• Bachelors degree and 2+ years of business development, marketing, customer engagement, communications, strategy, business management, or related experience.
• Experience supporting organizations within the aerospace, defense, energy, or life sciences sectors
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with business development concepts including strategy, marketing, communications, business management, engineering, or international relations
• Willing to travel up to 25%
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and hold an active DOE Q, Top Secret, or TS/SCI US government clearance Compensation for the Technical Business Development Specialist Includes:
• Salary range: $80,000
