About the Role

Our client, a leading company in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Purchasing Specialist for their operations in Pamplona, Navarre . Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure specialized technical components, machinery, and raw materials according to technical specifications.
- Evaluate potential suppliers based on technical capabilities, quality certifications, and financial stability.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with technical suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D;, and production teams to define technical requirements and ensure product compatibility.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular supplier audits.
- Analyze market trends for technical commodities and identify potential supply chain risks or opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant technical standards,



regulations, and quality management systems.
- Maintain accurate records of technical specifications, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
- Support value engineering initiatives by identifying alternative materials or components.
- Resolve technical issues related to procured items, liaising between suppliers and internal teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Buyer, Purchasing Specialist, or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical component specifications.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience with technical contract management.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and specialized procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical teams and suppliers.
- Knowledge of quality standards (e.G., ISO 9001) and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site settings.
