Experteer Overview
In this role, you will define features and systems for Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile’s next mobile game, from concept to launch and live iteration. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a fun, fair, and monetizable experience that resonates with players across markets. You’ll leverage data and user feedback to refine gameplay, balance, and retention while exploring new features and monetization ideas. This position offers the chance to shape engaging F2P experiences in a integral leader of mobile gaming.

• Design new features, systems, and content with producers, developers and artists to deploy for end users
• Own tuning and balancing of gameplay systems and content to maintain consistency and fairness
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from concept through release and iterate after launch
• Perform play testing and analyze data and player feedback to optimize game experience
• Collaborate with team to implement systems into gameplay and maintain balance across systems
• Work with stakeholders and producers to identify improvements and new features, content and events
• Analyze game metrics and qualitative feedback to inform design decisions
• Coordinate with translators and integrate translations using internal tools




• Assess current game content to improve design and monetization mechanics
• Stay updated on mobile games market and emerging tech to inform design
• Create a fun, engaging and outstanding player experience

Responsabilidades
• At least 3 years as a game designer
• Experience designing free-to-play RPGs with live gameplay balancing for mobile
• Understanding engagement and monetization KPIs
• Ability to analyze gameplay mechanics for mobile games
• Knowledge of game design, balancing, pacing and monetization strategies for F2P games
• Ability to design level systems and individual gameplay features
• Understanding of design concepts and principles
• Excellent written English
• Spanish language ability is a plus
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to translate the game vision into designs and adapt to feedback
• Familiarity with psychological models related to motivation to craft engaging experiences
