Experteer Overview In this role you will provide expert privacy and data protection legal guidance across the EMEA region, helping Medtronic navigate evolving regulations while enabling innovation. You will support digital health, data governance and AI initiatives within a global healthcare context. Collaborating with Legal, IT, Security, HR, Clinical, Ru0026amp; D and other privacy teams, you’ll drive compliance programs and risk assessments. - Advise on privacy and data protection requirements across the EMEA region
- Monitor and interpret GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy and related frameworks
- Provide legal guidance on digital health solutions, AI, data governance and product development
- Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements (data processing and data transfer agreements)
- Support privacy risk assessments, transfer impact assessments, and compliance reviews




- Advise on cross-border data transfers and international data flows
- Assist privacy incident investigations and regulatory notification assessments
- Develop privacy guidance, templates, governance processes, and compliance resourcesResponsabilidades
- Law degree and 4+ years of experience as legal counsel (or advanced law degree with 2+ years in data protection/privacy)
- Experience providing legal advice on data protection and privacy in a large, matrixed organization
- Knowledge of GDPR and UK GDPR across EMEA
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and data-related agreements
