Overview

You will transform raw data into actionable business decisions for user acquisition, retention, and monetization. You’ll partner with game teams to surface user insights, support A/B testing, and build scalable data models and dashboards. The role blends data science, analytics, and ML to drive growth in a mobile F2P environment. You’ll work across the modern data stack and explore AI to accelerate analysis and unlock new player insights. This is a hands-on, cross-functional opportunity at Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile with meaningful impact on game strategy.

Responsabilidades

- Turn data into actionable insights to inform user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies
- Provide insights into user behaviour for game teams and support A/B test design and analysis
- Build and maintain reliable data models and pipelines for self-service use
- Carry out ML projects for behavioural segmentation and monetization
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders
- Debug, document,



and version-control work with GitLab following CI/CD practices
- Communicate results to senior stakeholders across the organization
- Share best analytical practices and methods within the organization
- Explore AI and Generative AI applications to speed up analysis and uncover new player insights
- Stay updated on ML, data science, and GenAI trends
- Contribute to team knowledge base and culture

Requisitos principales

- Master's degree in a quantitative field (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, CS, Data Science)
- 5+ years in a similar role, ideally mobile gaming
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Amazon Redshift) and dbt
- Strong experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar tools
- Git/GitLab version control and CI/CD familiarity
- Strong statistical knowledge for analyzing skewed populations
- Experience communicating and visualizing results effectively
- Experience in predictive analytics and segmentation
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
