If integrity and self-motivation are your strengths, Applied Medical offers you an exciting opportunity in North Spain We are seeking a Territory Manager for the area around Vizcaya, Burgos and Palencia. After completing a comprehensive 7-week training program in English, you will arrange and travel to your appointments at the units where open and laparoscopic surgeries are performed. You will engage in peer-level conversations with surgeons, nurses, other healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders (both clinical and administrative staff) to understand their needs and propose solutions for a variety of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Colorectal, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Urology, Upper GI, ENT and Breast. This dynamic field position requires you to live in the territory and attend surgeries in the operatory room. There is no local office, but you will be in regular contact with the Spanish sales team and international colleagues based in the Netherlands (our European Headquarters). Within Applied Medical the title of this position is Territory Manager, and reports to the (Regional) Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Identifykey stakeholders within product segment and manage relationships autonomously. Our CRM tool will help you organize your appointments
- Demonstrate the use of our products to doctors, practice staff and nurses during planned surgeries, with the support of digital content
- Create effective business plans and approach strategies with your (Regional) Sales Manager
- Meet or exceed quota expectations as established by product segment




- Attend orientation, education & scrub sessions
- Work closely together with international colleagues in our European HQ on tenders (licitationes publicas), price quotations, order samples and customer requests
- Attend conferences for surgeons and other medical staffin your territory
- Frequent travelacross the territory

What you bring

- Bachelor’s or University degree level
- Experience in the hospital setting or affinity with the medical and surgical environment, preferably as a trained nurse, product specialist, sales representative, marketing professional
- Commercial experience in sales and customer engagement
- You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills in Castillano
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- You live in Bilbao, or the surrounding area
