Site Delivery Manager (MEP) | Hyperscale Data Centre | Aragon, Spain

I’m working with a fast-growing modular data centre business on one of its first hires in Europe. You’ll be the site lead for a modular, prefabricated hyperscale campus of up to 150 MW in the Aragon region, delivered for a leading integral technology client.

This isn’t a desk-based coordination role. It’s roughly 50% technical (MEP) and 50% site management, and you’ll help shape how delivery runs across Europe.

What you’ll be doing

- Overseeing the installation and commissioning (L2–L5) of electrical and HVAC/cooling systems delivered by vendors and subcontractors
- Supporting the local MEP contractor, who may be new to data centre and modular products, and working directly with suppliers’ technical teams to fix issues on site
- Owning site readiness before modular equipment arrives and is positioned, and agreeing lifting and crane plans with the lifting contractor
- Managing subcontractors, and knowing when to push for a fix locally and when to elevate
- Reporting progress, risks and lessons learned to the PMO

What we’re looking for





- 5+ years in data centre MEP delivery, ideally at Senior MEP PM, MEP Package Lead or Site Delivery Lead level on hyperscale or large colocation projects
- Hands‑on install and commissioning exposure across critical plant: MV switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, cooling towers/dry coolers and AHUs, with credibility across both electrical and mechanical
- A track record of leading delivery on site every day, not mainly from an office or a planning role
- Knowledge of Spanish standards (REBT, RITE, CTE) and site safety (PRL)
- Comfortable in a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment, and honest about what you don’t know
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Backgrounds from semiconductor fabs, power plants, pharma, airports or rail control centres will also be considered.

Candidates based in Aragon are preferred. Relocation is considered for strong EU‑based candidates with the right to work in Spain.
