Overview

In this role you shape the player experience for Rainbow Six Siege at Ubisoft Barcelona. You will design intuitive, scalable UX that supports both new and veteran players, working with cross-functional teams to translate complex systems into clear interactions. You’ll base decisions on player research and data, contribute to UX guidelines, and mentor others, all while aligning with the strategic and competitive nature of Siege.

Responsabilidades

- Define end-to-end user journeys for the game areas owned by Barcelona studio
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, information architectures, and interaction models
- Collaborate with Game Design, UI Art, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Production teams to deliver high-quality player experiences
- Advocate for player needs and usability throughout the development process
- Translate complex systems into clear and intuitive interactions
- Leverage player research, analytics, usability testing, and community feedback to inform design decisions




- Contribute to and evolve UX guidelines, design systems, and best practices across the Siege ecosystem
- Mentor junior and mid-level UX designers, providing feedback and design leadership
- Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels

Requisitos principales

- 6+ years of professional UX design experience in the gaming industry
- Experience designing in-game UX including HUD/UI, onboarding, tutorials, and gameplay mechanics support
- Proven experience designing complex digital products, live-service games, or multiplayer experiences
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX design process and measurable impact
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance player needs, business goals, and technical constraints
