Key Responsibilities

- Perform expert masonry work, including laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other building materials.
- Construct and erect formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and stability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut,



and shape materials using hand and power tools.
- Mix concrete, mortar, and grout to precise specifications.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, precision, and durability.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice masons and other team members, providing guidance and instruction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

- Extensive experience as a Maestro Albañil or Master Mason.
- Proficiency in all aspects of masonry, including brickwork, blockwork, stonework, and concrete finishing.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Skilled in the use of relevant hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of different types of mortar and concrete mixes and their applications.
- Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to perform demanding tasks.
- Experience in leading or mentoring junior workers is highly valued.
