Experteer Overview
As Unified Communications Engineer, you will own and continuously improve our Microsoft Teams Phone platform to deliver a reliable, global voice experience. You will plan country rollouts, migrations, and platform enhancements, partnering with global teams to drive efficiency and impact. You will resolve complex telephony challenges and ensure governance, compliance, and best practices. This role offers the chance to shape enterprise communications while working in an inclusive, transparent culture with global stakeholders.

• Manage voice infrastructure including PSTN connectivity, SIP trunks, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and SBCs
• Collaborate with telecom providers on number management, migrations, and global telephony services
• Act as escalation expert for complex voice service incidents and operational issues
• Drive governance, compliance and best practices; create documentation and share knowledge across IT teams

Responsabilidades




• Proven experience in enterprise voice, unified communications, telecommunications and cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on Microsoft Teams Phone in a complex enterprise setting (design, implementation, optimization)
• Solid understanding of telephony technologies: Direct Routing, Operator Connect, PSTN, SBCs, dial plans, voice routing, call queues, auto attendants, emergency calling
• Experience with telecom providers, number provisioning, migrations, and multi-country supplier relationships
• Ability to operate in global telephony environments with awareness of regional regulations and compliance
• Familiarity with contact center platforms such as Genesys or NICE (advantage)
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, QoS, firewalls, NAT, VoIP), plus troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently, influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decisions
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
