Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading fishing gear, nets, and related equipment before and after each trip
- Sorting the fresh catch quickly and organizing fish properly into designated boxes
- Cleaning, washing, and securing the ship's deck to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting routine deck tasks and maintaining general tidiness on board

Requirements

- At least 3 months of prior experience working on fishing vessels
- Official Fisherman Sailor certificate (Título de Marinero Pescador) in force




- Valid Basic Safety Training certificate (Formación Básica en Seguridad)
- Valid medical clearance from the Social Maritime Institute (Reconocimiento Médico del ISM)
- No formal academic qualification is required for this role

Contract and Compensation

This opportunity provides a discontinuous fixed contract (fijo discontinuo) with a planned duration of 10 months, starting on November 2, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Work is full-time on a night schedule, operating from 18:00 to 06:00. The annual gross compensation is 17,094 EUR, organized as a share-based remuneration system (salario a la parte) while ensuring the statutory minimum wage (SMI). Any hours worked beyond the agreed ordinary schedule pursuant to Article 34 of the Spanish Workers' Statute will be compensated or paid according to Article 35.1 of the same regulation.
