Experteer Overview
In this role you will develop and maintain a core Java/Spring Boot-based fraud detection service that sits at the heart of our risk technology. You will design and implement production-ready features, collaborate with analytics and operations, and influence architectural decisions to strengthen fraud prevention. The work blends engineering with business outcomes, offering hands-on coding, deployment, and mentorship. This role provides impact across risk scoring, tooling, and integration with internal and third-party risk providers.

• Design, build, and maintain Java 17+ Spring Boot services and APIs for risk scoring and fraud assessments
• Translate fraud rules and business requirements into reliable, observable production solutions
• Develop internal tooling for case review, rule management, and fraud alert handling

• Maintain production reliability through monitoring, alerts, and performance optimization

Responsabilidades
• Several years of backend development with Java 17+ and strong JVM knowledge
• Hands-on Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem experience
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with relational databases and SQL
• Strong focus on software quality with unit and integration testing
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, and regular production deployments
• Experience operating production services with logs, metrics, and production issue investigation
• Interest in data and business context behind technical requirements
• Professional working proficiency in English
