Experteer Overview
As Senior Customs Expert, you will drive end-to-end import/export operations and continuous improvements within a newly formed integral Customs u0026amp; Import model. You’ll partner with regional and local teams to deliver compliant, cost-aware cross-border solutions. The Iberian market is your main focus, with broader regional involvement, working autonomously to navigate complex regulations. You’ll shape processes and mitigate risk while collaborating with brokers and authorities.

• Drive operational performance of import, export and transit activities
• Act as a key point of contact for local customs authorities to ensure compliance
• Answer queries and provide support to stakeholders engaged in cross-border activities
• Drive operational interactions with brokers/3rd parties and monitor relevant KPIs
• Identify potential optimizations related to operating costs and opportunities for reducing customs duty spend
• Ensure end-to-end daily activities defined in the Customs u0026 responsibilities matrix are in compliance with country rules and regulations
• Ensure compliance under the Authorized Economic Operator and Inward processing authorizations




• Proactively avoid or mitigate potential business continuity or economic risk related to Tetra Pak operations and its customs transactions
• Ensure correct tariff classification of goods imported and exported
• Support the review of Inward Processing licenses, related controls, and ongoing compliance

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• At least 5 years of customs experience
• Experience in complex customs environments with process improvement and cross-functional stakeholder management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Conflict management and an innovation mindset
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Additional European language (French) would be an advantage
• Experience with Inward Processing would be advantageous
• Experience in Customs software or SAP is a plus
