A day in the life
Your morning begins with a cross-functional stand-up alongside architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers, aligning on a new fulfillment center design. You dive into structural modeling — optimizing steel frames, analyzing seismic and equipment loads, and future-proofing for robotics. Midday brings peer design reviews where you challenge assumptions and drive cost-efficient solutions. Afternoons involve coordinating with fabricators, resolving site queries with bias for action, and developing standardized design templates that accelerate delivery across the network. You mentor junior engineers, collaborate globally, and own your designs from concept through construction. Here, you don't just design structures — you build the infrastructure powering customer delivery at unprecedented scale.
