This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in that transformation while working closely with executive leadership to build a best-in-class Group Supply Chain function.

Role purpose:
We are seeking a hands-on Group Procurement Manager to establish and professionalise Group Procurement across an international, multi-site manufacturing organisation. Working closely with the Group Supply Chain Director, regional leadership, plant management and local procurement teams, the successful candidate will bring greater coordination and control to a predominantly decentralised, site-by-site procurement environment while capturing Group-wide synergies and strengthening supplier and contract governance.
This is not a purely transactional purchasing role. The Group Procurement Manager will combine strong sourcing and negotiation expertise, commercial judgement,



supplier-market knowledge and hands-on execution capability to put robust procurement foundations in place while supporting the Group's growth, operational resilience and profitability ambitions. The immediate focus will be on establishing the foundations of Group Procurement: capturing cross-site purchasing synergies, taking control of key supplier and contract activities, strengthening sourcing governance, accelerating outsourcing initiatives and improving the management of strategically important categories such as energy.

Key Responsibilities:
Group Procurement Strategy & Governance
Establish and develop the Group Procurement framework, governance, priorities and operating model.
Define the balance between Group-level and local procurement activities and drive greater coordination across sites.
Establish clear procurement standards, processes, decision rights and performance measures. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimisation
Lead strategic sourcing across key direct and indirect categories, including direct materials, metals, packaging, energy and services.
Identify and deliver cross-site synergies through supplier consolidation, volume bundling, alternative sourcing and improved commercial terms.
Lead major tenders, supplier selections and negotiations, ensuring measurable P&L; and cash-flow impact.
Supplier Management & Risk
Develop strategic supplier management, segmentation and performance-management practices.
Strengthen supply resilience by identifying critical risks and implementing mitigation strategies such as dual sourcing and supplier development.
Lead senior-level negotiations and build effective long-term supplier relationships.

Requirements:
Experience & Background
Significant professional experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management within an international industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing procurement across multiple manufacturing locations, countries or business units.
