What you’ll bring

- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — mandatory
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Service Now solution design, development, and implementation, with at least 3–5 years acting as a Platform or Enterprise Architect
- In-depth expertise across the core Service Now platform and multiple major application suites including HAM, SAM, ITSM, and ITOM
- Expert proficiency in platform security (ACLs, encryption), scripting (Java Script, Glide Script), data modelling, and integration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, NOW Experience, Service Portal, ATF, Integration Hub, Now Assist, and Now Create
- Proven track record architecting and leading large-scale, complex, and global Service Now deployments
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) and multiple CIS certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM) — desired
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ITIL processes — desired
- Experience with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies for platform development and release management — desired
- Fluent English — required. Dutch and Spanish language skills are a plus

What you’ll do

- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of the Service Now platform across all implemented and planned modules
- Lead the design of High-Level Designs (HLDs)



and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for complex Service Now implementations including multi-instance, global, and highly integrated environments
- Translate strategic business objectives and technology requirements into concrete, actionable architectural blueprints
- Apply deep cross-functional module knowledge to design solutions and ensure proper data model alignment including CSDM
- Define, implement, and lead technical governance processes including Design Authority Board reviews for all major platform changes and custom development
- Enforce Service Now best practices, design standards, and development guidelines to minimise technical debt and keep the platform evergreen
- Conduct technical risk assessments and provide architectural assurance, ensuring compliance with security protocols, data governance, and regulatory requirements
- Design and govern secure, high-performance integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub between Service Now and enterprise applications
- Lead the definition and governance of the Service Now data model, CMDB, and CSDM, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for complex architectural, performance, and security challenges
- Coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Solution Architects, Developers, and Implementation teams
- Present technical strategies, architectural decisions, and platform roadmaps to audiences ranging from technical teams to C-suite executives
- Support pre-sales activities including scoping, estimates, and statements of work
