Overview

As an R&D; Test Engineer, you will plan, prepare, and run engine test campaigns, ensuring accurate data collection and safe operation of advanced engine platforms. You will collaborate with plant personnel, instrumentation and automation teams, and external experts to guarantee readiness and efficient, incident-free test execution. You will troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices. This role offers impact in advancing decarbonisation efforts through robust testing and process optimization. You join a cross-functional team focused on safe, reliable, and innovative engine testing.

Responsabilidades

- Plan, prepare and execute engine tests under various load conditions following guidelines and test protocols
- Report and document test results; prepare technical reports for internal stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze test data, identify anomalies, propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with plant teams, I&M; and RDE to secure resources and ensure readiness for tests
- Manage technical issues and support operational decisions
- Lead and supervise mechanic-operator team during tests,



ensuring proper execution and training
- Ensure safety of all personnel by enforcing protocols and mitigating risks
- Participate in progress meetings with Manager Engine Testing to review requirements and priorities
- Contribute to innovation and process improvement in engine testing methodologies

Requisitos principales
- Degree in electronic/automation, mechanical, energy, or industrial engineering with experience in internal combustion engines
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities in an industrial environment
- Capability to interpret and validate electrical, hydraulic, and automation diagrams
- Sound technical decision-making under pressure to keep projects on schedule
- Proficiency in data acquisition and analysis tools
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English
