Overview

In this Senior DevOps Engineer role, you own production platforms and drive automation, security, and reliability at scale. You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and observability to shape reusable patterns and tooling. You’ll influence engineering standards and the responsible adoption of AI technologies, impacting multiple teams beyond your own platform. The role combines hands-on delivery with opportunities to influence how DevOps and platform engineering evolve in a general specialty insurance context. Responsabilidades
- Design, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms in production
- Create and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns using Terraform and OpenTofu
- Develop automation with Ansible to reduce manual work and ensure consistency
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, quality controls, and delivery practices
- Enhance developer experience through automation, self-service, documentation, and tooling
- Help define and promote engineering standards across infrastructure, Kubernetes, security, governance,



and software delivery
- Support AI technologies with integrations, governance, observability, and cost management
- Strengthen monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational visibility
- Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and application issues
- Provide advanced technical support for platform and production challenges
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to cross-team engineering decisions

Requisitos principales
- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
- Experience supporting and improving production environments
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and automation; Azure DevOps pipelines
- Experience improving developer productivity via platform tooling and reusable patterns
- Knowledge of infrastructure standards, cloud security, governance, and operational practices
- Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure, apps, deployments, and config
- Ability to understand application code when investigating platform issues
