Loop Machines is building the engineering intelligence layer for mission-critical hardware.

We're creating a platform that connects engineering data, decisions, and workflows across the entire hardware lifecycle — from design and verification to testing, production, and operations.

Our goal is to help teams building drones, satellites, robotics, and other complex systems move faster, make better engineering decisions, and continuously improve the products they build.

We're an early-stage startup based in Barcelona, building from the ground up.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join our founding team and help shape the technical foundations of Loop Machines.

This isn't a role where you'll simply execute predefined tickets. You'll work directly with the founders, contribute to product and architecture decisions, and take ownership of features from concept to production.

You'll have the opportunity to build a complex, AI-native engineering platform at an early stage, with meaningful influence over its direction.

What You'll Work On

- Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across frontend and backend.
- Develop intuitive interfaces that turn complex engineering information into actionable insights.
- Build scalable APIs, backend services, and data integrations.
- Work on connected engineering data models, workflows, and real-time information systems.
- Integrate AI-powered capabilities and agents into practical engineering workflows.
- Make architectural decisions and help establish engineering best practices.
- Collaborate directly with the founders to translate customer problems into working software.

What We're Looking For

- Strong full-stack development experience,



with the ability to work independently across frontend and backend.
- Experience with modern web technologies, particularly TypeScript, React, and backend APIs.
- Solid understanding of databases, system architecture, and software engineering fundamentals.
- A product-oriented mindset and an ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical solutions.
- Comfortable taking ownership, moving quickly, and working in an early-stage startup environment.
- Curiosity about AI, complex systems, and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice to Have

- Experience building AI applications, LLM integrations, or agent-based systems.
- Familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with data-intensive applications, developer tools, or technical SaaS platforms.
- Interest in robotics, aerospace, drones, or other hardware-intensive industries.
- Previous startup or early-stage product-building experience.
