Role Description The Business Strategy Risk Analyst is a full-time role based in Marbella in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for analyzing transaction data, identifying risk patterns, and supporting the development of strategies to reduce fraud and optimize payment performance. The analyst will collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to evaluate business models, assess financial impacts, and recommend process improvements.

Daily tasks include preparing risk and performance reports, conducting scenario analyses, contributing to strategic planning initiatives, and advising stakeholders on risk-related considerations for new features and merchant solutions.



The role also involves monitoring regulatory and industry trends in payments and eCommerce to inform risk frameworks and business strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis and consulting focused on process improvement or financial performance.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, including developing and evaluating business strategies in fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of finance principles relevant to payments, risk assessment, and revenue optimization.
- Experience in risk analysis or fraud prevention in financial services, fintech, or eCommerce is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with data tools (e.g., Excel, BI dashboards, SQL basics) to support analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across remote and on-site work.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory decision-making in risk assessment.
