You will develop and improve embedded firmware in C and C++, working mainly on bare-metal ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.

Together with electronics and other engineering colleagues, you will turn product requirements into working functionality, investigate issues on real hardware and verify that your changes behave as intended.

An unexpected measurement can come from the sensor, the electronics, the timing or the firmware.

At ERNI, you will work with a customer developing instruments for vacuum measurement, leak detection and process control.

Your firmware will connect the physical measurement to the behavior of the instrument.

What you will bring ? Bachelor's degree in Software/Electrical Engineering or a related field Professional experience developing embedded firmware,



with strong C skills and practical experience using C++ Experience working directly with microcontrollers and bare-metal firmware, including peripherals, interrupts and timing constraints The ability to investigate hardware-software issues using a debugger, schematics and measurement equipment A disciplined approach to testing, code review and version control German the best stories always happen in the office!
