Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. We're hiring a Technical Lead Manager to lead a cross-functional product squad, combining hands-on technical leadership with people management.

You'll lead a team of 4-5 engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data and other technical leaders to build products that improve our users' financial health. Lead and develop a squad of 4-5 engineers, balancing hands-on technical contribution with line management, coaching and support for individual growth. Define and steer the technical direction of your squad, helping the team make pragmatic trade-offs across speed, quality,



scalability and long-term maintainability.

Run regular 1:1s, provide clear and actionable feedback, and support engineers through development, performance conversations and growth planning. Stay close to the code and contribute hands-on to our Ruby on Rails monolith, using practices such as automated testing, observability, A/B testing and feature flags. Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Design and Data to deliver and iterate on features that have a meaningful impact on our users' financial health.
