We're working with a fashion retail brand in Barcelona to find a Buying Manager to lead one of its product categories.

This is a buying role with a strong product and design focus. You'll work hand in hand with the Head of Design and the planning team, shaping each collection from the first mood boards to the moment it reaches stores. The brand is looking for someone who brings ideas to the table, not only someone who manages the range.

The role

Leading a buying team, you will:

- Work with Design on colour palettes and mood boards, drawing on competitor analysis, runway research and shopping trips.

- Propose volumes, patterns and new product ideas for each collection.

- Define product depth with your buyers and the planning team, within the agreed budget.

- Travel on development trips to close prices, fits and colours, and negotiate with suppliers.

- Follow each product through fittings with the teams involved until it lands in store.

What you'll bring

- Buying experience in womenswear.





- A sharp eye for product detail, including patterns, volumes, fits and finishes. You should be able to discuss it on equal terms with design and technical teams.

- A strong reading of trends combined with commercial instinct. You understand what will sell, and why.

- Curiosity about fabric innovation and how it translates into design.

- The confidence to propose new directions and to question what has already been tried.

- A solid understanding of the full product life cycle, from concept to store.

- Supplier negotiation experience is valued, although product and design judgement come first.

- Fluent English and Spanish.

The role is based in Barcelona and involves regular shopping and development trips.
