About the Role
Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Planning Accountant to join their finance team in León, Guanajuato. This role is integral to the company's financial health, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic financial analysis. You will work closely with various departments to develop robust financial plans and provide insights that drive informed business decisions. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategies. Lead the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Create and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making. Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual performance to budget and forecasts, and provide explanations for significant deviations. Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends and performance indicators. Analyze financial data to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)



to track financial and operational performance. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required. Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and capital expenditure proposals. Stay abreast of economic and industry trends that may impact the company's financial performance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), budgeting, or corporate finance. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.
Hyperion, SAP BPC). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
