Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program across the organization.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company's operations.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.




- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Oversee the investigation of potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are up-to-date and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
- Manage the company's anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) processes.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors.
- Foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization, promoting ethical behavior and regulatory adherence.

Requirements

- University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., AML/KYC, GDPR, financial services regulations).
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required. English language skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
