About the roleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will play an important role in the development and evolution of our backend solutions, working primarily with Java, Spring Boot and MongoDB.The team operates in an Agile environment and supports business-critical initiatives, including development and transformation projects connected to our marketing capabilities. For someone with the right ambition, this position also offers an exciting opportunity to grow into a Technical Lead role, taking increasing responsibility for technical direction, ways of working and knowledge sharing within the team. What you'll doDesign, develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and applications using Java, Spring Boot and MongoDB.Take ownership of technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Promote high standards of software quality through code reviews, automated testing, performance optimisation and sound engineering practices. About youWe are looking for an experienced software engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy being hands-on with development, but you also recognise that great software is built through teamwork.





Extensive professional experience in backend software development, ideally within complex, distributed systems. Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Solid experience working with MongoDB, including database design, data modelling and performance optimisation.

Experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services. Good understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, automated testing and CI/CD processes.

Experience working in Agile development environments, such as Scrum. Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

It would be great if you also have: Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools or an interest in exploring AI agents and their applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Previous experience acting as a technical mentor, senior technical reference or informal team lead. Take ownership of solutions, influence engineering practices and develop towards a future Technical Lead role.
