OverviewAs a Solutions Consultant for Public Sector, you will lead technical guidance through customers' security transformations.
You own accounts end-to-end, shaping solution design, deployment quality, and ongoing health across the lifecycle.
You will advocate our on-prem, cloud, and security operations capabilities and partner with services to deliver measurable value.
You'll build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and drive architecture roadmaps that align with customer imperatives.
This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic cross-team leadership.
ResponsabilidadesDrive strategic, technical account planning for complex engagements with multiple buyers
Perform advanced discovery to align technical and operational priorities
Establish and leverage relationships with senior customers (VP+) to position Palo Alto Networks as a trusted partner
Design high-level solutions across the PANW portfolio to create business value for large enterprises
Lead complex technical validation efforts to secure technical wins
Promote integrated solutions and collaborate with services to drive adoption
Maintain day-to-day technical ownership, ensuring deployment readiness and health across accounts
Identify optimization opportunities post-sale and guide customers to expanded platform adoption
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Professional Services,



Customer Success, Specialists, Channel, Support) for a seamless journey
Translate complex security concepts into actionable value through tailored briefings and demonstrations
Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and articulate PANW differentiation
Pursue continuous learning and contribute to the Solutions Consultant community
Requisitos principales6+ years of technical pre-sales experience
Proven public sector customer market experience
Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, including seven-figure opportunities
Ability to influence key stakeholders in customer-facing engagements
Experience delivering customized technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements
Pre-Sales experience in large, complex enterprises with multi-national operations
Technical expertise in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, SASE, or AI Security
Experience partnering with Customer Success or Support to ensure adoption and implementation
Strong technical storytelling and solution positioning across multiple products
Strong communication and presentation skills
