Within Verisk Specialty Business Solutions (VSBS), we provide technology and data solutions that support the global specialty insurance market. We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape how our production platforms are built, automated, secured, and operated. This is a hands-on senior engineering role with genuine technical ownership. You'll work across AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, and observability, building capabilities that improve reliability while making it easier for our engineering teams to deliver software effectively. For someone who enjoys being hands-on but also wants to shape how DevOps and platform engineering evolve, this role offers the chance to build things that last and see the impact of your work over time. Design, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms running in production. Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns using Terraform and OpenTofu. Develop automation using Ansible to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across environments. Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, quality controls, and delivery practices. Help define and promote engineering standards across infrastructure, Kubernetes, security, governance, and software delivery. Strengthen monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational visibility across business-critical platforms. Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and application issues. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role. ~ Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible. ~ Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and engineering automation, ideally including Azure DevOps pipelines. ~ Knowledge of infrastructure standards, cloud security controls, governance, and operational practices.



~ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across infrastructure, applications, deployments, and configuration. ~ An automation-first approach and a genuine interest in continually improving how engineering teams build, deploy, and operate software. Amazon EKS. Azure DevOps, including pipelines, permissions, and integrations. Observability and incident management tooling such as Dynatrace and PagerDuty.
