We are seeking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Credit & Accounting Associate to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (with the possibility of an extension up to a maximum of 12 months total). This position temporarily replaces a colleague on maternity leave. Because the role has been vacant for a few months, there will be no direct handover from the predecessor, however our supportive and experienced finance department employees will fully guide, train, and onboard the candidate regarding our specific workflows and

key responsibilities
of the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior finance professional with 1 to 3 years of experience to deepen their expertise in a collaborative multinational corporate environment. Job description
/ Tasks and

responsibilities:
* Monitor customers’ ageing lists and collaborate with the sales team regarding follow up on overdue customer balances




* Order releasing according to the company’s credit control procedures
* Timely and accurate delivery of customers’ accounts statements
* Provide daily support to the accounting department
* Perform accounting postings, updating accounts receivable and payable and performing reconciliations.
* Assist the finance team with monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting closure and reporting.

Requirements:
* 1-3 years previous experience in accounting, accounts receivable or credit control.
* University degree or technical diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Preferred practical experience using SAP and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, basic formulas, filtering data).
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
