D3 Applied Technologies is an engineering company specialised in simulation-driven design for the marine and aerospace sectors. We take sailing yachts, hydrofoils, Olympic sailing campaigns, power craft, ships and fixed-wing drones from concept to optimized performance, combining advanced CFD, composite structural analysis and our own in-house simulation software. We're hiring a Design & Performance Engineer.
What you'll do
Run CFD (RANS, free-surface, DES) on HPC to optimize lift, drag and efficiency
Build Velocity Prediction Programs (VPP) and turn results into design decisions and client reports
What you bring
Degree in aerospace, naval or mechanical engineering; fluent English and Spanish
Hands-on CFD (STAR-CCM+, Fine-Marine, OpenFOAM or similar), Linux and Python; CAD in Rhinoceros and Siemens NX
Nice to have: hydrofoils or UAVs, optimization, GPU/C++
