Media Removal is hiring an experienced Content Removal Expert to lead our removal operations and help us build a stronger internal team.

We help clients across the US, UK, Australia, Canada and Europe remove harmful online content. We’re looking for someone who has personally handled removal cases and knows how to turn that experience into results, repeatable processes and a more capable team.

Availability: Monday to Friday, a minimum of 8 hours per day.

The experience we need

You must have direct experience obtaining removals from third-party platforms, publishers or websites on behalf of clients or an organisation.

That experience could come from a law firm, reputation management agency, specialist removal company or an in-house role handling external removals.

Experience working at Trustpilot or another platform can provide useful context. However, internal moderation or reviewing reports within a platform is not enough on its own. We need someone who has pursued removals from outside the platform, built submissions, handled rejections and followed cases through to an outcome.

What you'll own

- Personally handle difficult removal cases across reviews, social media, websites and articles.




- Lead and develop our internal Trust & Safety team.
- Choose case strategies, gather evidence and manage submissions, appeals and escalations.
- Build practical methods and processes that other team members can use.
- Bring more of the work we currently outsource in-house.
- Coordinate with external providers when their support is needed.
- Keep cases moving and take responsibility for results, quality and delivery times.

What we're looking for

- Proven, hands-on external content removal experience.
- Practical knowledge across multiple platforms.
- Experience leading people and improving team performance.
- Strong policy research, evidence assessment and written submissions.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Sound judgment about what can realistically be removed and when a case lacks sufficient grounds.

We’re looking for demonstrated removal experience, not just familiarity with platform policies.
