About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all social and community service programs in León, Guanajuato .
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans to address identified community needs and organizational goals.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community leaders, funding partners, and other stakeholders.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and campaign development.

- Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial stewardship and accountability.

and best practices in social services and community development.
- Represent the organization in public forums, conferences, and meetings.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department.
- Oversee the expansion and development of new services and initiatives to meet evolving community demands in Guanajuato .

Requirements

- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
- A PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in social services or community development organizations.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, program management, and financial oversight.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of social issues, community needs assessment, and program evaluation methodologies.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong understanding of the socio-economic landscape of León and Guanajuato .
- Ability to work effectively in both office and remote settings.
- Strong networking and partnership-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish is essential; English proficiency is highly desirable.
