At GCTIO, we lead network technology strategy across the Telefónica group. Our mission is to ensure that the right technologies are identified, selected, and deployed in the most efficient and effective way to support Telefónica’s strategic vision and business objectives. In this role based in Madrid (Spain), you will be part of Mobile Packet Core Technology and Planning team as an expert across the Telefónica Group within the GCTIO organization. Your primary focus will be to provide deep technical expertise and contribute to the definition, selection, implementation, and evolution of mobile packet core technologies in close coordination with Telefónica’s operating businesses and key stakeholders. The role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to influence and support the evolution of the mobile core towards 6G.



You will contribute your expertise to maximizing the value of core network capabilities in support of Telefónica’s automation and monetization objectives, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), intent-based operations, and advanced network programmability. You will provide expert input into the future network architecture and help promote a consistent technology strategy across the Group, fostering innovation, operational efficiency, and new business opportunities.
