GTF Engine Shop Manager Mission Reporting to the GTF Engine Service Senior Manager, the candidate will lead the day-to-day execution of production activities associated with GTF engine shop visits within the assigned operational area. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of engine disassembly, inspection, assembly, testing, and release activities, while achieving operational targets related to Turn Around Time (TAT), productivity, quality, schedule adherence, and customer commitments. Acting as the first-line operational leader, the position drives shop floor execution, workforce performance, and operational discipline to ensure engines progress through the Pratt & Whitney Gate Management process according to plan. - Lead the day-to-day execution of production activities within the assigned workshop area, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Manage operational activities associated with:
- Gate 0 - Engine Induction & Incoming Inspection.
- Gate 1 - Disassembly & Inspection.
- Gate 3 - Engine Assembly & Test.
- Gate 4 - Release Readiness.
- Coordinate and supervise technicians, inspectors, and operational personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of all shop floor activities.
