The Functional Nanomaterials Group in the Advanced Materials for Energy Area of IREC announces an PhD position available for a highly motivated candidate to work on the project HARD.

The candidate will focus on the development of a robotic material discovery platform and its use in the identification of optimized electrocatalytic materials.

We offer a PhD position in the framework of the HARD project.

Salaries will be paid in accordance with IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.

Research Field Engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Research Field Chemistry Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Research Field Physics Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Qualifications and experience required:

The candidate must have a master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Materials Science or equivalent and previous experience in robotics, AI, materials development and/or their electrochemical characterization
